Meet Dr. Rajesh Helavar
Dr. Rajesh Helavar is the driving force behind Precision IR, an expert in minimally invasive Interventional Radiology. With over 13 years of experience and a passion for innovation, Dr. Helavar has built a reputation as a leader in the field, dedicated to transforming lives through cutting-edge treatments.
From Radiologist to Pioneer
Dr. Helavar’s journey began in 2011 as a Consultant Radiologist at Columbia Asia Hospitals (now Manipal Hospitals). He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and MD Radiology from Gauhati Medical College. His dedication to learning and advancement led him to pursue specialized training in Interventional Radiology, including prestigious observerships at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He further honed his skills in Tumor Ablation at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, and mastered Chemoembolization techniques for liver cancer at Seoul National University Hospital.
